Marciel J. Camacho, CFP®, EA
President & Co-Founder
Marciel Camacho has a strong work ethic. He worked in multiple start-up companies in California’s Silicon Valley before forming Lexington Financial in 1988. He started early in life and balanced his career goals with helping to raise a family of four children, which he considers the most important work of his life.
At an early age, Marciel realized that only through hard work would he be able to achieve his life goals. His years of dedication helped to create Lexington Financial into the firm it is today. Marciel brings this same commitment and diligence to every client who partners with Lexington Financial.
“I started my career in accounting in the corporate world and gravitated to financial planning when I realized I could do more for people outside a corporate environment. I wanted to take a proactive role in helping others analyze their data, measure their progress, and create comprehensive plans to assist in reaching their dreams.”
Marciel has more than three decades of experience in finance. He has successfully built a solid reputation and long-term relationships by providing clients with the highest level of financial competency and integrity.
Before founding Lexington Financial, Marciel served as controller for firms in the semiconductor and robotics industries. He has performed complex business financial modeling and forecasting and installed several small business accounting software systems.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and Janae Sowards took the one less traveled. Fortunately for Lexington Financial’s valued clients, Janae’s decision made all the difference. Looking back on the unconventional route she took to become a financial advisor, Janae finds meaning in that popular Robert Frost poem.
She didn't start her journey seeking to become an advisor. Before joining Lexington Financial, Janae spent years helping children with communicative disorders as a speech-language pathologist until she put her career on hold to raise her children. When it came time to return to work, Janae was inspired by the example her parents had set. "I always knew my purpose was to serve others. My parents founded Lexington Financial because they were committed to serving their clients and helping them reach their dream. My parents' dedication moved me to take that road, too," said Janae.
Janae co-founded a firm now called StraightEdge Insurance Agency, before joining the Lexington Financial team in 2012. She shares her parent’s passion and love for working with individuals, families, and business owners to help guide their financial decisions.
An analytical person, Janae finds satisfaction in figuring out how to pull the various moving pieces of her clients’ financial life together to help set them on the best path to reach their dreams. “As a financial advisor, I can help people in a meaningful way and truly make a positive impact on their lives. We believe everyone should have someone to look after them. That’s why we are here” said Janae.
A graduate of Utah State University, Janae earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders. She has obtained her FINRA Series 66 and 7 securities registrations. Janae’s commitment to providing a high standard of financial planning to Lexington Financial’s clients has led her to begin the rigorous process of earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Janae and her husband Justin, live in Georgetown, Texas with their five children, including triplets, Aubrey, Brock, and Caleah, as well as Peyton, and Hazel. Janae is committed to volunteering for her church youth activities and her children’s sports and enrichment programs. When she isn’t serving clients, Janae enjoys spending time with her family playing games, watching movies, cooking, and traveling.
