Looking back on the unconventional route she took to become a financial advisor, Janae finds meaning in that popular Robert Frost poem.

She didn't start her journey seeking to become an advisor. Before joining Lexington Financial, Janae spent years helping children with communicative disorders as a speech-language pathologist until she put her career on hold to raise her children. When it came time to return to work, Janae was inspired by the example her parents had set. "I always knew my purpose was to serve others. My parents founded Lexington Financial because they were committed to serving their clients and helping them reach their dream. My parents' dedication moved me to take that road, too," said Janae.

Janae co-founded a firm now called StraightEdge Insurance Agency, before joining the Lexington Financial team in 2012. She shares her parent’s passion and love for working with individuals, families, and business owners to help guide their financial decisions.

An analytical person, Janae finds satisfaction in figuring out how to pull the various moving pieces of her clients’ financial life together to help set them on the best path to reach their dreams. “As a financial advisor, I can help people in a meaningful way and truly make a positive impact on their lives. We believe everyone should have someone to look after them. That’s why we are here” said Janae.

A graduate of Utah State University, Janae earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders. She has obtained her FINRA Series 66 and 7 securities registrations. Janae’s commitment to providing a high standard of financial planning to Lexington Financial’s clients has led her to begin the rigorous process of earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
